1. Acceptance of Terms

2. Description of Services
ColdBite provides ice fishing equipment rental services and informational content related to ice fishing. All prices, gear availability, and rental terms displayed on this website are for informational purposes and subject to change. No online purchasing or payment processing occurs on this Site.
3. Equipment Rental Terms
3.1 Eligibility
Renters must be 18 years or older and present valid photo identification at time of pickup. Minors may use equipment only under direct adult supervision.
3.2 Equipment Condition
All equipment is provided in well-maintained, safe working condition. Renters are responsible for inspecting equipment at pickup and reporting any pre-existing damage to ColdBite staff before leaving our premises.
3.3 Renter Responsibilities
- Equipment must be used solely for ice fishing purposes on frozen bodies of water
- Renters must comply with all applicable fishing regulations and licensing requirements
- Equipment must be returned by the agreed return time in the same condition it was received
- Gas-powered equipment must be returned with fuel tank empty or at the original fuel level
3.4 Damage and Loss
Renters are financially responsible for any damage to, or loss of, rented equipment beyond normal wear and tear. Replacement costs will be assessed at current market value. ColdBite reserves the right to charge the security deposit (if applicable) for any damages.
3.5 Cancellations and Rescheduling
Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled rental are accepted without penalty. Late cancellations may be subject to a fee. ColdBite may cancel or reschedule rentals due to unsafe ice conditions without penalty.
4. Ice Safety Disclaimer
Ice fishing involves inherent risks. ColdBite does not guarantee ice safety conditions at any fishing location. Customers are solely responsible for assessing ice conditions before venturing onto any frozen body of water. ColdBite strongly recommends:
- Checking ice thickness (minimum 4 inches for single person on foot)
- Always carrying and wearing ice safety picks
- Never fishing alone on ice
- Informing others of your location and expected return time
5. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ColdBite shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our equipment or services, or from ice fishing activities. The maximum liability of ColdBite shall not exceed the total amount paid for the specific rental transaction giving rise to the claim.
6. Website Use
You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the website
- Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or copy content from the website
- Reproduce or distribute content from coldbitefishingtours.com without prior written permission
